Here are highlights from June. Luke worked really hard on potty-training during June and he's doing very well. We're not 100% yet, but he has really surprised us with how quickly he learned and took interest in going potty.
Chef Luke
Playtime
Toy Story continues to be a favorite of Luke. One of our neighbors gave him a few toys from the movie and a couple we were able to use as potty training rewards. That was quite the treat for Luke. Here he is after getting his stuffed Buzz. He also has a stuffed Woody now.
Luke enjoys finger-painting. Here is his masterpiece.
Exercising with Mommy
Luke is in the advanced nursery at church...he's finishing up his reading assignment before Sunday morning.
Luke's 2nd Haircut
I took Luke for another haircut in June which went much better than his first time. He had a sucker sampler to keep him occupied while getting trimmed up.
Pullen Park
We found a great park in downtown Raleigh. Pullen Park is a very old park with a lot of character. It has a Victorian Era feel to it as you walk around. Unfortunately, you won't see much of that in these pictures. The park also has paddleboats and a train. Luke really enjoyed playing here with Leigh Ann and Woody while they were visiting.
Luke Potato Head
All Luke's own doings...he did both of these and ran over to show us (after checking himself out and laughing in the mirror)
Thank You Aunt Nancy & Uncle Bill
Luke received these really cute building blocks from John's aunt and uncle for Christmas and he's really starting to play with them more lately. Here is his "castle." He did this all by himself.
Our New Neighbors
Here are our new neighbors who live right next door. Luke enjoys playing with his new friends.
Luke's not sure if this is allowed
New neighbors also means new toys
