Here we are at home. This craddle first belonged to my great, great, great grandmother and every Sansom boy has slept in it for generations. We are very happy (and nervous) about being home. We are about to embark on our first night away from the hospital. So far, Luke has slept much of the afternoon. He is nursing but we are having trouble keeping him awake at the breast. Also, Christy's milk is coming in so its changing what he is used to feeling. We are working hard and know that it will come with time and a lot of patience. We know many of you were praying for us over this past week and we are very appreciative. The Lord really did a mighty work in Luke. Our pediatrician wasn't sure he would come off oxygen until Thursday but he was not only off oxygen but in our room by late Wednesday afternoon. Another testimony to the power of prayer. Keep praying because we are going to need it in the days to come!!
