Here is our 10 month old!!! He is very entertaining right now. He likes to try going through tight spaces. He found one that was just his size on the side of a wicker chair.
We are working on self-feeding with Luke. This was taken at the end of September. Luke does feed himself finger foods, but we haven't tried much with the spoon yet.
During mid-August, John had training for work for a week in Lexington, so Luke and I took the opportunity to pay a visit to my parents in Kernersville, NC. We flew again, and he did extremely well on the flights. In the first pictures, we are at Fourth of July Park in Kernersville.
This is a tunnel on the playground that Luke crawled through.
Winston-Salem has a 3- story mall which ranks among the largest on the east coast, so of course we had to pay it a visit, twice. Here is Luke on his first carousel ride. We were the only one riding. The person running the ride said he is the first baby his age she had ever seen on the ride who did not cry. You can't tell from this picture, but he really did enjoy it.
During our visit to NC, I was looking through my September issue of Southern Living and noticed a short feature on the Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem. Being so close, I had to take a look so we visited the gardens one evening. It was beautiful. I would like to go again during the day, when we return to NC in the spring or summer, since there were also alot of shops and buildings to tour.
