13 Months Old

Luke is now 13 months old and into EVERYTHING!!

We like to call this one "Elton John in His Toddler Days." Luke loves playing his keyboards.

While some who are around Luke more may think he is filling up his diaper in this picture he was actually just making a funny face while he modeled Daddy's UK hat.

This looks like a fun thing to wear too...Mama's scarf.

Our little homeboy! Looks like he's about to DJ a big party.

My New Hat

I had some tights hanging up to dry, and Luke thought they would make a fun toy. Daddy on the other hand thought they made a great hat.

New Year's Day

I was told these pictures HAD to be posted as evidence of our New Year's Day fun. John and I went out on the 4-wheeler, and he and Larry got to choose my riding attire. So here I am in camo and John's Elmer Fudd hat. Believe it or not this was not my first time on a 4-wheeler. We had one almost identical to this when I was younger and I drove it around A LOT. I actually did most of the driving when John and I rode together. So, I'm not all city girl after all!!!

Happy New Year!!!

We packed our bags to spend New Year's Eve with Grammy and Pappy. Luke looks just a little uncertain about his mode of transportation.

Mini-Vacation

This is the Aspen Hall Bed and Breakfast in Harrodsburg, KY. John and I spent 2 nights their after Christmas for a brief getaway. It was so nice to have some free time without having to worry about what Luke is getting into, and no stresses or responsibilities to take care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away and hope to take another trip like it again this year.

Christmas Day in Ohio County

We videoed our Christmas morning so I'll have to get those pictures from Nana and Pepaw. Here are some pictures from Christmas Day with Grammy and Big Pappy and Leigh Ann and Woody.

It took a while, but Luke eventually stuck around long enough to actually unwrap his own gift.

Looks like Woody got a "Luke" for Christmas. Just what you always wanted!!!

The best part about Christmas is climbing over all the big boxes!!!

Luke and Leigh Ann getting in some exercise before the big meal.

Christmas Eve

"Luke, this is my chair." Hunter enjoyed sitting in our "bowl" on Christmas Eve.

Luke is looking at his Little People Airplane. He asked Santa for this one since he racked up some frequent flyer miles during his first year of life.

Cole is decorating Luke for Christmas.

The ornament thief in action. We are only missing one Christmas ornament, so I guess we did OK with our first Christmas with a toddler.

Russellville Christmas

We spent the Saturday evening before Christmas in Russellville, KY to visit with John's grandparents. Luke is checking out his gift here. This is a Santa who sways as he plays his sax. Luke was timid for a bit, but he learned quickly how to make Santa play.

The Human Vacuum

This is another pre-Christmas picture, but not much has changed in the subject. Luke can continually snack all day if I don't get his crackers picked up off his exersaucer after snack time. He has a new habit now of pulling food out of the trash can to eat. We're working on that (to correct him).

The Christmas Program

Here are some pictures from our church Christmas program where I portrayed Mary. Sorry we don't have any shots of John in action playing his bassoon. He was in a totally different program at another church.

At the end you see our tired family in the midst of performance weekend. I still had 3 shows to go and John 1.
