This is Luke's new trick. When he is sitting up in his crib, he'll reach for the rails and pull himself up to his knees. He hasn't been able to pull to standing in here yet, but that won't be long. Looks like we'll be lowering a mattress when we move. Posted by Picasa

No more pictures, please. Posted by Picasa

I can't take it anymore!!! This is how Luke fell asleep for his nap after an extended shopping trip with Mommy. It took an extremely long time for someone to help us at a gift shop we visited prior to his nap. He was ready for the nap long before I was able to leave the shop. We were pretty frustrated with waiting, but he wasn't fussy at all. He's a good baby. Posted by Picasa

Lookin' like my Daddy. Posted by Picasa

GO BIG BLUE!!! The 3rd of many more UK outfits Luke will wear during his lifetime. Posted by Picasa

I've graduated from the bottle!!!! Luke is still nursing, but when we can't he takes a sippy cup now. He took to the cup extremely fast. I was surprised at how easily he took it. He loves to watch Daddy and Mommy eat and drink from our dishware, so I'm sure anything that resembles what we use is great to him. Posted by Picasa

Loooonnng Luke. Luke measured at 28 inches at his 6 mth. checkup on June 6th. He has already outgrown his 6-9 month sleepers. We're actually having problems finding 12 month sleepers this time of year.  Posted by Picasa

I can sit up now!!! This was the first time we sat Luke up in his stroller. He was so excited and bright-eyed for our whole walk.  Posted by Picasa

Luke sportin' the saggin' look. This is the day of Luke's 6 month checkup. You can still see the band-aid on his thigh. He handles his shots very well. He didn't even cry for the first 2 shots the nurse gave him and wimpered a bit on the 3rd and that was it. What a trooper!  Posted by Picasa

The Elmer Fudd look. Kill duh wabbit, Kill duh wabbit.  Posted by Picasa

This is Luke's safari outfit. He didn't mind the hat at all. We've already gotten a little too long for this outfit.  Posted by Picasa

Our New Home. This is the house that we are moving into on Saturday. We just had it painted so you are going to see the rooms below. John let me pick all of the colors, so you're going to see a colorful home. We were both so tired of living in rental homes with white walls so we have really branched out.  Posted by Picasa

Living Room. This is our bold color, called paprika. I wanted at least one room with something other than a light or neutral color. Well, some of you may think I chose many bold colors:) Posted by Picasa

Different view of Living Room. Posted by Picasa

Hallway to Bedrooms. This color is also in the family room. It's called caramel, but it sometimes looks like the same color as the kitchen/dining area (gold). Posted by Picasa

Hallway Bath. This is the same color you will see in the guest bedroom, shagreen. Posted by Picasa

Luke's Nursery. I wanted to stick with yellow for him since that is what he has now. We're still waiting for 2 bedrooms to be carpeted. Obviously this is one of them. Posted by Picasa

Guest Bedroom. This was expected to be a sage green, but it turned out a little brighter than I thought. I really like it though. We're still waiting on the carpet for this room too. Posted by Picasa

Master Bedroom. Blissful Blue Posted by Picasa

Master Bath. I know...it's a bit bright. It turned out a little more purple than I expected. Actually, the photo looks more like that color I chose, aster, but when you see it in person it looks violet. Posted by Picasa

Family Room. This room was added onto the house by a past owner. It is a huge space that I'm sure we'll enjoy for great family times! Posted by Picasa

I love to watch Luke playing with his daddy. He lights up when John comes home from work. It is so precious to see them play together. John is an incredible daddy.  Posted by Picasa

We sat Luke up in his crib yesterday, and he was pretty impressed with the new view. He is so fun to watch as he is making new discoveries. I guess it's about time to move that mattress down. The real surprise will be the morning we come to his room and find him sitting up on his own!!! I'm sure that's in the near future. Posted by Picasa
